Sociologist from the University of Chile, PhD in Sociology from the Eötvös Lorand University of Budapest, Hungary. She specializes in gender and public policy, statistical analysis. She has participated in SUR since the eighties in various research and development projects. She has worked in public institutions as coordinator of Social Statistics at the National Institute of Statistics (INE); as Head of Studies in the Public Security Division of the Ministry of the Interior in Chile, and performs consultancies for various international organizations (OAS, UN Women, IDB, FAO, PAHO, among others). Areas of interest: gender diagnoses in public institutions; citizen security, development of participatory methodologies and qualitative analysis.
