SUSANA ARAVENA

Anthropologist, with more than thirty years of experience in studies and social intervention in areas of social production of habitat, urban poverty, neighborhood recovery, community work with grassroots organizations and education of social leaders; with expertise in team coordination, evaluation and systematization of social projects; mastery of qualitative research methodologies; consultancy for studies and consultancies on issues of citizen participation, urban and housing policies in Chile. She participates in the Chile Popular Habitat Network and in the Latin American Secretariat for Housing and Popular Habitat (SELVHIP). She is currently part of the technical team of the Habitat Network and accompanies the housing cooperatives in progress in the cities of Santiago and Valparaíso.
