SUSANA ARAVENA
Anthropologist, with more than thirty years of experience in studies and social intervention in areas of social production of habitat, urban poverty, neighborhood recovery, community work with grassroots organizations and education of social leaders.

YASMÍN BALBOA
Civil Constructor, Master in Local and Regional Human Development, diploma in Social Management, High Public Management and Regional Strategy in Infrastructure. Extensive experience in Public Administration Services, State companies and non-profit institutions and foundations.

PATRICIA BOYCO
Anthropologist, graduated in Social Planning. Teacher in design, execution and evaluation of community programs and public policies. Her areas of interest are the social construction of the territory; collective action; multi-stakeholder public policies on a neighborhood scale, subjects in which she has participated in numerous projects and programs .

CARMEN CANALES
Sociologist, graduated in Sociology and Education, 28 years of work experience in research and development of social projects and education. Responsible for 22 years of the School of Education and Training with women: Territory, Identity, Gender and Generation.

TAMARA JERI
Sociologist (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile), Master in Social Sciences (Universidad de Chile). Researcher in public policies, with several experiences in diagnostic studies, evaluation and analysis of programs and public policies of social development, urban development, housing, social integration and citizen participation.

TANIA MACUER
Sociologist, Master in Government and Society (Alberto Hurtado University). Researcher and project manager with experience in the leadership of social studies applied to topics related to human rights, poverty, family, and violence. She has been part of a panel of experts in the evaluation of public policies related to women’s human rights and in the evaluation of programs in this area both in Chile and in other Latin American countries.

PAULINA MATTA
Degree in Education and teacher of Spanish (Universidad Católica de Valparaíso). Person in charge of the editorial production for Ediciones SUR, of SUR Corporation’s magazine, Proposiciones,, of articles by its researchers for other media, and of internal reports.

LYLIAN MIRES
Sociologist from the University of Chile, PhD in Sociology from the Eötvös Lorand University of Budapest, Hungary. She specializes in gender and public policy, statistical analysis. She has participated in SUR since the eighties in various research and development projects.

CARLA OVIEDO
Auditor Accountant Studies, Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (UTEM), Santiago. Accounting support.

ALFREDO RODRÍGUEZ
Architect, Catholic University of Valparaíso. Master in City Planning, Yale University. Researcher at SUR Profesionales Consultores S.A., President of the Corporation for Social Studies and Education. Member of the National Council for Urban Development (2014/2018). He has been a consultant for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Urban Environmental Management Program (UEMP), the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (UNCHS-Habitat), the Organization of American States (OAS) in Latin American countries; for Ministries of Housing and Urbanism, Public Works, and National Assets, and various municipalities in Chile..

ALEJANDRA SANDOVAL
Graduated in Sociology (University of Chile), with experience in studies and social intervention in the areas of housing policy, social management of habitat and urban poverty. She has coordinated multidisciplinary teams in intervention projects and social support in vulnerable neighborhoods.

OLGA SEGOVIA
Architect (University of Chile). Postgraduate studies at the Danish School of Architecture. Member of the Women and Habitat Network of Latin America. Author of various research and consulting projects, and of publications on urban and local development, public spaces, care, and gender. At the international level, she has carried out work for Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the European Union and UN Women.

UCA SILVA
Communicator, graduated from the University of Ottawa, Canada. Researcher, academic and consultant, specialized in Electronic Waste, Communication and Information Technology issues, with more than 25 years of experience in planning, development and implementation of international projects.

MARIO VILLALOBOS
Anthropologist (Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Lima, Peru), Master II (Université Paris VII-Jussieu, France) with specializations in management and public management. With experience in topics of public management, territorial planning, community participation, application of qualitative-quantitative methodologies and project formulation and management.
